Picos de Europa National Park

Somiedo Natural Park

It has an area of ​​29,122 Ha .. It covers the municipalities of: Somiedo, Belmonte and Teverga. It is located in the central western mountain area, in the Oviedo region. In it are the lakes of Valle and Saliencia. Ponga Natural Park

Natural Park of Fuentes del Narcea and Ibias

It has an area of ​​55,500 Ha .. It was declared a Biosphere Reserve in 2003. It covers the municipalities of: Cangas del Narcea, Degañae Ibias. It is located in the central western mountain area, in the Comarca de Nárcea. Its landscape stands out for its great beauty in high mountains, deep valleys, lakes, meadows and many fauna and flora. It is considered the area with the highest concentration of animals in the Cantabrian Mountains.

Its weather: high mountain continental, but drier than other similar areas.
